The $269 MegaPak adds the same few bluegrass RealTracks, so I think the best deal for Mac bluegrassers is the same as I just described for Windows. It includes the same bluegrass RealTracks #130 for same $129 base price. Here's the link for the latest Mac version (2015).
#Biab 2016 pro#
A better value, if all you want to add is more bluegrass, is to buy the Pro pack for $129 then add whatever available bluegrass RealTracks you want for $29 each. But that's $140 more for not much more bluegrass.
#Biab 2016 plus#
This appears to be a cut-down version of one of the other bluegrass RealTracks.Īt the MegaPak level, $269, you get the same #130 plus Bluegrass 100 with Pedal Steel Soloist, and a Mandolin soloist for Bluegrass Band #130. The only bluegrass RealTracks included with Pro is #130. Click on the "Pro" tab then scroll down the page to see the RealTracks that are included at this most basic level. On that page, click on the tab for the specific "package" you may be interested in. I just got the answer from PG Music, and they pointed me back to the website, with specific links, and I can see that the info you and I want is actually there! You need to click certain tabs and scroll down.įor the current Windows versions (2016) click here. I thought that was pretty poor customer service and told them they had just lost a new customer. I asked the folks at BIAB and the sales person couldn't say and told me to look on the website. I explained that I had already looked at the site and was confused by all the options but the sales staff couldn't' be bothered. Tam, I'll look at their website and see if I can decipher their pricing. I must confess, while using RealBand some, I know very little of it's capabilities and probably have only scratched the surface of it's options It also has an included program called RealBand (I believe) that you can load your new creation in, and have a little more control over editing out or in instuments for solo's etc.

You can also convert to mp3 to burn a practice cd if you like to play along with from a cd player for very life like volume. It's really easy to enter chord progression for x number of measures, loop songs as many times as you wish, set tempo, set key etc. you basically get bluegrass band instruments playing together which you can manipulate somewhat for solo's etc. Simply lets me know when song starts.Īnd you dont buy ( or didn't then) single instruments such as the mandolin. I worked around by including a two bar intro (option in program). Any suggestions or thoughts? I've been searching and reading but not finding anything to point me in the right direction.Ken, I think to get the lead in click track you have to have drum package. I am hoping to import a couple riffs that I like, to run with samples from my library.

VEPro 5 running in server mode on a second machine for samplesĮDIT: I'm running DP and BIAB on the same machine.
#Biab 2016 driver#
Windows 8.1 i5, 8G memory, 1 TB hard driver Ironically (maybe), I can play the BIAB MIDI files in multiple Windows machines with just a media player, though that won't solve this.

Tech support at both MOTU and PGMusic seem to be stumped - neither has seen it. I'm able to import MIDI from just about any source but BIAB. Internal Program Error (null pointer) (-108) I've run into a problem I've not encountered before: whenever I try importing a MIDI file, exported from Band in a Box, I'm getting this error in a popup window:ĭigital Performer has encountered an error.
